The device comes with an SOS alarm linked to a 24/7 manned control center in Ireland.  

The unit offers customisable protocols, such as connecting with the control center silently (where the operator listens without speaking for user safety), utilising a safeword/password for activating a secure plan, including contacting authorities, and facilitating two-way conversations with the user for information exchange and assistance calls when needed.

Serves a variety of roles, including delivery drivers, construction workers, off-site staff, and vulnerable employees. It aids employees with health issues, responds to accidents and incidents in the workplace, safeguards team members during aggressive behaviour, and includes a fall alert feature for those working at heights. 

The unit can be utilised in scenarios such as late-night car parking, where a staff member walking back to their car can remain in contact with the call center until they safely reach the vehicle. The operator in the control center has visibility of the locations of other May Day devices in the vicinity of where the SOS is activated, alerting nearby team members who can respond rapidly.
